When I burn ....

Pain for lack of a better word ladies and gentlemen is good.Pain is good.Pain clarifies.
Pain is the proof of life.Pain ennervates.Pain awakens.Pain hits your nerves so hard it hardens them.and then you need more to feel alive.Pain intoxicates.the blood that flows-...vibrant crimson...bloody red and alive.
Pain races you to your death...innocent and candid- no hidden twist just a track to a train rushing to its destination.

If you are still alive your mission on earth isnt over (Richard Bach)

Interesting ! I always thought it was the other way round.Pain reminds you of your material existence whilst serenity allows reason from the beyond to flow through - unhindered by the earthly signals that usually corrupt our reception.

At some point, pain ushers serenity in. One cant revel in pain for long, and one tends to look beyond oneself (pain, i believe is, in some way linked to one's love for oneself) for a source of alleviation. Most categories of pain and torment can be wiped off in a jiffy if one has a glimpse of the bird's eye view of things. To see a possibilty beyond the pain. To believe that everything, even pain has a reason. And that reason , happy or sad, fits neatly in the grand scheme of things. But its a personal call, whether one wants to welcome the serenity that pain had brought in its wake.
